If there is such a thing as a "productive" reason to be awake at 2:00 AM, it’s currently being baked at Insomnia Cookies. This isn’t just a bakery; it’s a late-night support system for the sleep-deprived and the sugar-inclined. The name is both a brand and a biological reality. While most of the world is tucked in, Insomnia is just getting started, leaning into the quiet hours with a menu designed to reward those of us who find the night much more interesting than the morning. • The Chocolate Chunk is the gold standard here—warm, buttery, and served at a temperature that suggests it was pulled from the oven the moment you crossed the threshold. It’s gooey enough to require a napkin but sturdy enough to survive a dunk in milk. • The Brownies & Brookies: If you’re feeling indecisive, the Chocolate Chunk Brookie is the peacemaker. It captures the dense, fudgy soul of a brownie with the crispy-edged spirit of a cookie. • The "Wiches": This is where things get dangerous. Sliding a scoop of cold vanilla bean between two warm Double Chocolate Mint cookies is less of a snack and more of a spiritual experience. The thermal contrast alone is enough to keep you focused for another three cha

We placed an order online for delivery to our son, requesting a 1:30 PM delivery today. They arrived at 1:30 AM. The delivery person (Door Dash?) woke the house up. The cookies were frozen solid. My wife contacted them and requested a redelivery. They left the cookies at the door. The problem seems to be a complete breakdown in communication between Insomnia Cookies and their delivery service. The reason for the one star review is their repeating the same issue. It's also foreseeable that offering "warm cookies" during cold winter months will be problematic, especially when the forecast calls for sub-zero temperatures. Finally, the cost is pretty high. Our order ended up being around $4.20 per cookie. My caution is that you are taking a risk with their cookie delivery option, at least during the winter months if you want them delivered warm.

I rarely write reviews on Google Maps, but this time I really wanted to share my experience with this Insomnia Cookies shop. When I visited on October 25, 2025, I was treated with such unexpected kindness from the cashier. I truly felt the spirit of American generosity — helping others, even strangers. Here’s what happened: I was counting coins from my wallet to buy two cookies — not because I didn’t have enough money, but because I was about to leave the US and wanted to use up my change. I probably spent a bit too long digging around, and then the cashier suddenly offered me two cookies for free. Yes, FREE! It was a misunderstanding, but it showed how kind-hearted she was. I was really touched. At first, too surprised by such a lovely gesture, I accepted the free cookies and just left a small tip. But after thinking it over, I went back to the shop and paid the full amount as I should have. The cookies I got were double chocolate and peanut butter. Both were good, but the best thing was their kindness. So: If you’re nearby, please consider supporting this shop, and thank you for reading my review! ❤️🍪
